Camry's letter

Most recent:
I taught our progressing investigator today and he committed to baptism so that
is a relief. I know I am supposed to be here it is an experience I will hold
forever. I have learned that faith in yourself is huge. This mission isn't about
me anymore it's about bringing people unto The Lord, that's the purpose of my
mission.

letter 1/28/13

Family hey this is just a short letter but will you guys let me know if your getting my letters. Everything is going good I still don't understand the language but it will get better. The MTC isn't that bad now that we have some friends. The Poly kids are all pretty funny and way cool. Our district gets along pretty good so that helps a lot. Elder Ioseta is my buddy. He is a big old kid. He gave me a lava lava like this towel thing they wear for pants. Having people you like makes time go fast. Elder Hansen is a good kid from Arizona. He has a girl friend so we relate well. Elder Holmes and Elder Paosi are our zone leaders so thats all thats going on

Letter 1/25/13

January 22, 2013

Dear Family
Well today is P-day and this has helped out a lot.  For the most part we have just done a lot of language study.  Which has been really hard.  I am very confused but everyone that has been here for a long time says it will come.  I have seen Sarah Polatis a lot.  She is in my same building.  I ate lunch with Dallin a few times last week.  He seems really excited to get to leave but really everyone is.  If anyone says this place is so much fun they are lying.  We go to like six hours of class a day and then study the rest of the hours.  At the end of the night I am very ready for bed.  I also have seen Brock Pence and Kade Fenton there is like 10 kids from Rigby here but I only see them when I am going to lunch.  Tell dad thanks for the letter it really means a lot.  I want to tell you all how grateful I am for you guys.  I love you all.  Thanks for everything you have done it means a ton.  I miss you all but I am ready to get going.  I was really depressed when all the Elders got to leave yesterday but they deserve it because they put in their time at "prison".  There were some really cool kids in that group.  Our district is alright.  Elder Hansen is a cool kid and Elder Vea is really funny but quiet.  When he talks he is normally joking.  We call him the worlds smallest tongan.  You will see why when you get pictures.  Thanks for everything you all do and letters do help move the time on I will email on Tuesdays.  Love Elder Robison

First letter home

Family
I can't believe that I am here.  It's hard to write this letter and not think about home.  So far I have been lost in everything. I am not sure what to think, but I know that it will get better.  I have seen a few people that I know from back in high school.  I saw Sara Polatis right when I got to my class.  I also saw Dallin Polson a few more times during the day and I saw Tanner Fawnsbeck and Kade Fenton two kids that I went to high school with.  When I went to my first class they didn't speak a word of English.  Then we went to like a Sacrament meeting and a few people spoke to us.  After that they released us to go to dinner.  It was alright but I am still hungry.  I then came back to my room and unpacked everything.  After that we had to go to these teaching sessions where we taught investigators.  After that we went to the classroom and met our zone leaders and then went to our rooms and wrote in our journals and got ready for bed.  We woke up at 6:30 to get ready then have a planning meeting.  Now we have a little time to write home.  I want to thank you guys for everything.  I know this will be hard but it is what I need to do.  I will normally send my letters on Tuesday's.  I love you all and am very thankful for everything.  Love Elder Robison
