Well we had a good week and the new family we started teaching last week came to church and accepted a baptism date so that is cool. They really want to join but they will need to get married first so that might take a little while. Then just the other night we taught these two new girls and they both accepted a baptism date as well so now we will try and get them ready for December. The goal for the mission is 200 baptisms in December and I think we can get it. It would be a great way to finish off the mission with a baptism and I know we will have one for sure. I found out yesterday that I will be staying in my area for my last transfer with my same companion so that will be good. At least I know the people so that will make Christmas funner. This transfer should go by really fast with Christmas and all so its going to be crazy but this is all coming to an end. I have truly loved being here and I love the people. I have learned so much while I have been here and I know this is the true church and that as we stay strong in the gospel we will be blessed always and i also know that we have to use our Savior to get stronger and better and to become a saint. I hope you all have a great week thanks for everything I love you all.

Hey everyone how are you doing. I had a great week this week we had a the opportunity to meet with Elder Oaks from the quorum of the 12 and he spoke to our mission. he is Really great He had us all come and shake his hand. I was a little surprised that he is just very normal, He makes jokes and is just very good. He spoke on many things to us and really hit on marriage and providing. Then he gave us some good things about the priesthood that would clear up alot of concerns in the world right now. It was a great experience that I will never forget. After he told our president how impressed he was with our mission. He said its not very often missionaries will look him in the eye and he said we all did and he really appreciated that. I was very grateful for him and that he came to our mission. One of my top experiences on my mission for sure. It was a great week thank you all for everything I love you all.

Hey everyone how are you all doing I hope everything is going great back at home. We had another really good week here and got everything going good.  We found 6 new investigators to start working with and so that will be good and fun. Nothing to crazy happened this week, just normal but a good one. Time really starts to fly by. We have a great ward here and the single adults are really cool in our ward. We had 7 investigators come to church so that was good and we will have another baptism this November 8th so that will be cool she just got married so now she will be able to get baptized. She is excited this has taken her six years so its definitely time. My comp is really cool and we get along really well and he is funny we have a good time together. I kinda hope to stay with him for my last transfer and in this area but not sure what will happen to me I have just one more. I really love it when people realize how much the gospel can help them if you just follow what it asks and live it the best we can and then when we fall short apply the atonement. It can truly change lives and help people in trials. We need to all sustain our leader by following what they ask us to do even if it isn't the cool thing to do. I am very grateful for this church and all it gives us in life and I know this church is true. Again hope you all have a good week. Love You all\

Well we had a good week this week. Not to busy we actually got stuck in our house for one whole day because of the typhoon that came through. So we didn't get a ton of teaching done but we had a baptism on Saturday so that was good. Sis. Donna Veridiano got baptized and her husband got to baptize her so it will be a great thing for both of them. They are a young new couple so it will be a good start for the both of them to have that experience. We are doing good though we should have a few more baptisms next month so it will be good. Thats our goal for now and we have a few that are getting close to ready so I will let you know how that goes. Well sorry the letter is short but just a quick update on what I have been doing. Thanks for everything love you all.  Elder Robison

August 31, 2014 email

hey well i had a good week nothing out of the ordinary, but it was good we are still working hard and trying to get all of our investigators to baptism. we have alot showing up to church but they all have some little things to take care of but the harvest should start this month so that will be good here. Lately we have only found a few new people to teach, but they are all priesthood potentials so that is really good and different for a change. we have one guy that is so smart and is really investigating the church he truly wants to know the truth so it is really fun to teach him. We are just starting another transfer right now so i have at least one more here i will finish up training elder brown. he is doing good and starting to really enjoy the work. We will just keep working hard and both try and keep our minds off of home. His mind goes back and i try not to let mine go forward. but i love the work and am so gratefull for this oppurtunity to serve here. I love the people and my mission and i know this is the true church. Hope your all doing well i love you all thanks for everything.

Letter August 2014

Family hey how are you all doing. I hope your all doing alright. It's harvest time now so thats always fun. I sure miss that time back home. From the emails and letters it sounds like it will be a rough crop for people everywhere there so thats no good. We all know that things will work out and there is a plan for everything that happens. Even if it sets us back a little. It will give all the farmers something to talk about all winter long. As for me I am doing really good. Just coming to the close of another transfer soon. Busy as ever. The time is really flying by now. I am still training and its good. Elder Brown is starting to enjoy the mission. Reminds me of when I was new and didn't really want to be here then that all goes away and then you start to enjoy it. Then before you know it is over and your getting ready to go home. I am in the city of Marikina. The shoe capital but its an alright city. Cleaner than most cities here but still not clean. Our ward isn't the strongest but they try. We had 10 investigators at church last week and a few less actives showed up as well. We are hoping to have two baptisms on August 30th and then about 3 in September. Thats what we want. Everything seems to be on track so I think we can get them so things are going good. We have a really fun zone. I like a lot of the Elders here right now. It is weird that I am the oldest out of all of them but 1 other Elder. They are all good guys though so we have a lot of fun. We go play basketball every p-day. Yeah that is what I have been up to for the last little while. Sorry for the lack of letters lately. Just busy and there isn't a way for me to send them to you only every once in a while but I will try and keep you all up to date on how stuff is going. Thanks for all that you are doing and remember that all things come to pass even the trials. It's the pattern in the Book of Mormon. Thanks!! Love you all Love Elder Robison
